Filing an Appeal
You may not agree with a decision or an action made by the plan about its services. In such cases, you may appeal within 30 days of notice of the decision. You can appeal over the phone or in writing. Someone you appoint may ask for an appeal for you. This could be your PCP or a family member for example.
Appeals can be submitted to us by phone at 866-329-4701 (TTY: 711). You can also send an appeal in writing to the address below.

We will let you know what information we need to work on your appeal. We will make a decision within 15 business days of receipt of all required information. We will tell you and your provider orally and in writing of the decision.
If you need to file an expedited appeal
Call customer service at 866-329-4701 (TTY: 711) and ask for an expedited appeal.
We will let you know within 24-hours if we need more information. We will make a decision within 24-hours after getting all the needed information. We will notify you and the provider orally and in writing of the decision.
